World Trophy Latin 2010

This year, I was again invited to come to the World Trophy Latin American in the Kurhaus at Scheveningen in the Netherlands. In the weekend of 6 and 7 March, I attended the event. On Saturday evening, the World Trophy Latin was combined with a charity ball organized by SHE energy drink, donating the sum of 200.000 euro to Pink Ribbon. Neil Jones and Ekaterina Sokolova won the trophy and PiEp.nu sponsor couples Niels Didden & Gwyneth van Rijn and Frank & Danique Zegels were 6th and 8th respectively. The Amateur Classic Showdance competition that night was won by PiEp.nu sponsor couple Marcello Nencini & Tessa de Jongh. You can find the photos of this wonderful evening in the gallery here.

On Sunday, the Dutch Championships Professional Latin American were held. In what was to be their last event as competing dancers, Sander Pondman & Ilse Lans took the title here. Furthermore, in the Professional Classic Showdance competition, which was won by Herman Lak & Michele Gleimann, PiEp.nu sponsor couple Jorgen Hultermans & Shirly Habets were placed 2nd!
